Private Gliders

 As well as the Club fleet, there are over 100 ‘private’ gliders based at Dunstable, owned by the members, either as individuals or in groups or ‘syndicates’. Among them are some of the oldest Vintage gliders in the country, including some dating back to the pre-war era. At the other end of the performance scale we have some most advanced gliders available, such as the EB28 with a best glide ratio of over 60:1.
