Synopsis: High pressure centred Belgrade Low pressure centred north west of Scotland. Cold front lying Banff to Dingle Bay at midday.

Significant weather: Another cold misty day. Cloudbase starts higher (3000 feet) but low cloud 500 feet will tend to return by this afternoon.

Temperature 4 C

Dewpoint: 2C

Thermal strength. None

Cross country: Not suitable.

Outlook: Tuesday cloudy but with higher cloudbase than of late. Wednesday currently looks damp, with a waving front just to the south.

Up to is the distance I would expect a good current pilot to achieve in a very good glider e.g. JS1.
